Corporate Credit Ratings Sources

Note: None of the rating firms cover all companies.

S&P Credit Ratings

  • NetAdvantage
    • For individual company credit ratings, in the left navigation of the company's profile, select Fixed Income > Credit Ratings.
  • Capital IQ – see Capital IQ access help
    • For individual company credit ratings, in the left navigation of the company's profile, select Fixed Income > Credit Ratings.
    • To screen by credit rating:
      1. From top menu, select Screening > Companies.
      2. Enter credit rating in the search box.
      3. Add other screening criteria as needed.
  • FactSet – see FactSet access help
    • In the company's profile, select Credit Analysis > Ratings.

Moody's Credit Ratings

Fitch Credit Ratings

  • FitchConnect
    • For individual company credit ratings:
      1. In the upper right search box, enter company name or ticker.
      2. In the company's profile, go to the Ratings tab.
    • To screen by credit rating:
      1. In the top menu, select Search > Entities.
      2. Under Select Data Items, select the Credit tab.
      3. Choose a Fitch Rating type (e.g. Long-Term Issuer Default Rating).
      4. Screen by other available criteria in the Sector, Geography, and Financials tabs.
  • Bloomberg – see Bloomberg access help
    • Enter Ticker CRPR <GO> (e.g. IBM US Equity CRPR <GO>).
