WSJ.com accounts are for current Stanford students, faculty, and staff. Access will end when you leave the university and accounts must be renewed annually.
Create an account with your SUNet@stanford.edu email.
If you previously had a paid WSJ.com account with your Stanford email, click Sign In at the bottom of the registration screen and enter your credentials to activate your free access via the library.
Renew your Account
Accounts must be renewed every year. You can use the link you were sent in an email from Dow Jones with the subject line "Action Needed: Refresh Your Access".
If you can't find the email, open a new private/incognito browser and connect to WSJ.com.
If you can log in and see an Activate Now link in the dynamic banner on your screen, click that.
If you see a note saying you already have an account:
Click the Sign In button.
Follow the instructions to authenticate.
Make a selection in the Account Type drop-down and press Create.
If using a mobile app, once you have reactivated your account in your browser, log out of and restart the app before logging back in.
If your graduation date has been extended, let us know the new month and year via Ask Us so we can help.
You may need to repeat these steps in other browsers, because your browser is likely saving an old/expired/inactive account. Going through this process allows you to connect again with your active Stanford subscription.
Using the App
Sign out of the app and completely close it.
Reopen the app and go to Profile > Log In.
Enter your SUNet email and click the button to Send One-Time Passcode.
Open your email to get the code and enter it in the app.
