Database Access Help

We're sorry you're experiencing a database access issue.

Most Common Fix

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Close and restart the browser.
  2. Use the database link on the Business Databases & Datasets page.
    1. Tip: Look for a note in the description that explains any common issues or how to access the database. Many resources require you to create an account first.
    2. These links go directly to the library's subscriptions and include an authentication step so you can access the database anywhere.

Eligibility

  • Our online resources are only available to current Stanford faculty, staff, and students. Incoming students will gain access once they register for classes.
  • See more information for Stanford GSB alumni, including recent graduates.
  • If you have a sponsored SUNet, you also need to be sponsored for "Library e-Resources" in order to access our resources for Stanford-related teaching, learning, or research.

Report an Issue

If the above steps do not work, report an issue using the Ask Us form. Please tell us:

  1. What database you cannot access.
  2. That you followed the above steps.
  3. Where you are (on or off campus).
  4. What browser, operating system, and device you are using.
  5. A screenshot of any error message(s) you get.
