We have access to the following industry-specific modules in the Capital IQ Pro platform:

• Banks, Thrifts, Insurance, and Financial Services (formerly SNL FIG)
• Energy (formerly SNL Energy)
• Media & Telecommunications (formerly SNL Technology, Media, & Telecommunications)
• Metals & Mining (formerly SNL Metals & Mining)

These S&P Market Intelligence modules are available to current Stanford faculty, staff, and students for academic use only.

Access S&P Market Intelligence Data

Always use a link on the GSB Library's website so you are recognized as a Stanford user.

1. Connect to Capital IQ Pro – see Capital IQ Pro access help.
2. Follow the prompts to enter your SUNet ID and password, if you're not already logged in on your browser.
   1. If prompted, enter your SUNet email address on the S&P Global Sign In page and press Next.
3. To access data from various Market Intelligence datasets, in the top horizontal menu, select the dataset you want to browse. If you do not see the dataset, click Edit and add it to the Current Menu Items and press Save.

Help & Troubleshooting

First, try to access the database using a private/incognito browser (or clear your browser's cookies and cache). If you still have questions or run into issues, Ask Us. Please provide specific information about what you did and/or the error message you see.
