Download EBSCOhost eBooks

Note: It is easiest if you download the eBook on the device you plan to use to read it. E.g. if you plan on reading on an iPad, complete the following process on the iPad.

EBSCOhost eBook in SearchWorks

  1. After finding an eBook in SearchWorks, click on the EBSCO link. (see image).
  2. On the eBook's record page in EBSCO, select one of the Download options (e.g. full book download, chapter download. Options will vary by publisher).
  3. You may be able to download some pages without logging in, but for some options you will be asked to sign in or create a MyEBSCO account.
  4. Select how long you want to borrow the book for and what format you want (options will vary by publisher), and press the Download button. If you're trying to download the full eBook, you may need to install Adobe Digital Editions.
